I also wanted to share this because I am making it for my best friend as a graduation present and I'm very proud of it :)

This week was our last week to throw and foot. These are my last few projects that I glazed to end my ceramics career....P.S. I'm wearing cute Hunter rain boots in this photo.
This week was my last time to throw.... It is very sad that my ceramics career is coming to an end and my last day of throwing I even shed a few tears. I made this project because I love the movement on the top and I plan to raku it to create an emphasis on the top detail. I posted this late because I was out of town on Friday and did not have service. I also wore cute shoes when I threw this:-)
This week I threw three vases. Two for my theme projects and the third for extra credit. This reinforced my skills of choking to make a vase like shape. :-)
This week I was only here for two days. However, during those two days I used my time wisely by footing and sanding this wheel altered project. I also completed my vocabulary page on my Weebly. Go check it out!
This is me connecting three pieces to create my wheel altered project. I am extremely happy with the way it turned out. This is the tallest project I have made so far. I also am very happy with the shape of the vase and how it indents in the middle. Overall very happy and it was a good week in ceramics!
This was failed to post last week due to technical difficulties with Weebly. I was absent for most of the week last week however, I used watercolors to create this busy design on my teams frakenpot. I have never used watercolors before so this was something new I got to learn.
This I worked on footing and smoothing out our Frankenpot. As a team we worked together to complete a three different pieces and put it all together as one. I enjoyed making this piece of art with my team :-)
This week we have been working on our frankenpots. My team is Zac, Alex and me. These three pieces we threw today and plan on piecing them together tomorrow. Alex threw the base, I threw the middle and Zac threw the top.
