This is my vase project. I made this case by using my skills of choking and lipping it to create a vase like shape. I glazed this case with green scrap, black and white. The color of the case creates movement throughout this simple shape.

This is my second bowl project that I threw on the wheel. To make this bowl I reinforced my skills of shaping, to make more of a rounded bowl shape. I glazed this project with scrap and then white on top of that, to create a vintage look. The color of the bowl creates a worn on feel that is very classic. The contrast of the dark spots to the light blue backdrop create demension within the bowl that adds to the overall quality. This is my first bowl project that I threw on the wheel. I reinforced my skills of pulling the wall, compressing the base and trimming the lip to create this bowl shape. I gllazed this bowl in scrap green, the color emphasizes the depth of the bowl. The color also brings unity to the entire bowl as it is one solid, deep color. When I look at this project I am reminded of tall evergreen trees in the summer due to its rich green color.
